I love vacations. Since I am not going away anywhere, it’s nice to just take a deep breath and chill out a bit. I enjoy answering email and reading blogs! One great one that I just spent time on is this one:

Great, pertinent material for upper elementary students. Our 5th graders are blogging and using wikis and as much as I want them to know the “score,” I also do not want to scare them to the point where they are not using the tools to the fullest capabilities. Our fifth grade teacher, Jenn Dunham, is working hard on getting her kids to post decent blog posts and to comment on other’s posts. We have to remind all the time about using last names. They are getting there but with this great page on Online Safety, I can remind them again that we aren’t just telling our classmates and family members when we post; the whole world can take a peek!
